PURPOSE:To mold good molds with a simple mechanism by providing a molding station provided with a sand charging device and a squeezing device, a flask removing station which registers upper and lower flasks and removes the flasks, and a moving device for upper and lower flasks. CONSTITUTION:Respectively two sets of lower flasks 11 and upper flasks 12 are placed on a turntable 7, and a lower part pattern plate 15a (the explanation in relation with the upper part is omitted) is moved upward by a vertically moving table 15, until it is superposed on the lower flasks 11 and is further moved upward until the top surface of the flask 11 abuts on a stopper member 42. The molding sand stored in a hopper 46 is charged into the flasks 11. The sand is increased in density by compressed air, after which it is squeezed by the squeeze plate 37 in a head frame 34. A lower part pattern plate 16 is moved downward to part the mold. After the flasks 11 are turned up side down by the operation of a rack cylinder 21, they are moved to the flask removing station by the table 7 where they are registered with the flasks 12, after which the mold is ejected by a flask removing board 75 onto a mold receiving board 66. |
