PURPOSE:To prevent the external flow-out of the fuel due to the breakdown of the diaphragm, by conducting one defining chamber of a diaphragm type fuel pressure regulation valve through a movable valve to the fuel injection chamber of a suction pipe thereby making the setting pressure of the diaphragm valve member reliable. CONSTITUTION:In a fuel pressure regulation valve 20, the diaphragm 22 is held between the upper and lower housing sections 21a, 21b to define the first and second chambers 23, 24 while the differential pressure between the pressure in the chamber 23 and the setting pressure due to the spring 30 will cause the valve member 25 of the diaphragm 22 to open/close the end section 27 of the conduction pipe 26 thus to regulate the pressure. The second chamber 24 is connected through a movable film 34 provided at the opening 33 to the fuel injection chamber 4 of the suction pipe 2. Since the pressure in the chamber 4 is transmitted to the chamber 24, the differential pressure between the nozzle 11 and the chamber 4 can be maintained to the setting pressure and even if the diaphragm 22 is broken the fuel will only flow into the chamber 24 and never flow to the outside. |
