PURPOSE:To provide a thixotropic polyurethane compsn. suitable for a sealing material and having excellent storage stability, etc., by blending carbon black and a benzene carboxylate ester with an isocyanate group-terminated polyurethane polymer. CONSTITUTION:10-150pts.wt. carbon black such as thermal black or channel black and 1-150pts.wt. benzene carboxylate ester of the formula (wherein n is 0-3; R is a 4-18C alkyl; R' is a 1-8C alkyl) such as n-butyl benzoate or methyl n-butyl phthalate are mixed with 100pts.wt. isocyanate group-terminated polyurethane polymer obtd. by reacting an org. compd. having at least two active hydrogen atoms with an org. polyisocyanate to obtain the desired thixotropic polyurethane compsn. |
