PURPOSE:To reduce a speed change gear to light weight by bringing an inner peripheral spline of an inner race of a one-way brake of a speed change gear into engagement with an outer peripheral spline of a center support formed on a support wall of a transmission case. CONSTITUTION:An intermediate support wall 63 having a cylindrical center support 62 at the central portion thereof is disposed in the interior of a transmission case 6. A speed change gear 2 is mounted at the rear of the intermediate support wall 63. One-way brake F2 of the speed change gear 2 includes an inner peripheral spline 201 at the inner race 200 thereof. The spline 201 is fitted on an outer peripheral spline 202 formed on the outer periphery of the end portion of the center support 62. In the thus constructed speed change gear, the brake F2 is mounted on the center support 62 with a predetermined minute play retained, and at the same time is disposed on the inside of a brake B2. |
