<p>PURPOSE:To stop the dubbing of a recording side once the ending of a CTL signal recorded on a playback-side tape is detected with regard to a system which records the playback signal of one of two video tape recorder on the tape of the other recorder. CONSTITUTION:When a video tape recorder 1 is used for reproduction and a video tape recorder 2 is used for recording, a detector 3 detects the ending of a CTL signal after the reproduction of the video signal of the recorder 1 ends, and the signal is supplied to a shutting-off mechanism 6 of the recorder 2, which stops operation automatically, thereby finishing dubbing automatically. The recording and reproducing sides are reversible. Consequently, the shutting-off mechanism of the recording side operates automatically once the ending of the video signal is detected, so it is unnecessary for a user to monitor the devices invariably, and the waste of a magnetic tape is avoided.</p> |
