PURPOSE:To elevate productivity by a parallel connection freely attachable and detachable, by forming a flat surface on the opposed surface of adjacent capillaries, passing a hard steel wire stretched in order at constant intervals through a center hole of the capillaries, and placing and fixing them in parallel. CONSTITUTION:Plural capillaries having a center hole 1a for inserting an optical fiber are constituted of a capillary 2a whose one surface has been ground as an adhering surface, and a capillary 2b whose both surfaces have been ground as an adhering surface, and are placed and fixed so that a pitch of the center hole 1a of each capillary becomes constant, and to a hard steel wire 6 stretched on a V-jig 8 for holding a V-groove 5 conforming with an optical axis pitch of a desired optical fiber, each capillary 2b is placed so as to place it between the capillaries 2a, the wire is inserted, tensile force is put on by a weight 11, and onto an adhering surface 22 with which the capillary 2a and 2b positioned in this way contact, an adhesive agent is applied respectively, they are fixed, and a multicore capillary 2 fixed in parallel is formed. |
