PURPOSE:To make it possible to carry stacked papers having an uncut sheet size in a group and to aim at enhancing the work efficiency of paper handling, by elevatably arranging paper clamping devices and cantilever arms provided with a device for lifting a paper partitioning device, in a reciprocatable tower laid on a horizontal bed, thereby papers having an uncut paper size may be clamped and lifted in a stacked condition. CONSTITUTION:Paper receiving heads 24A, 24B, paper clamping devices 22A, 22B, and a back and forth movable head 19 are set to accomodate with the size of papers, and a paper partitioning device 27 is set at a predetemined height by lowering an elevating bed 9 in a tower 2 in accordance with a predetermined sequence program. Then, the first partitioning member 28 is inserted between papers, and thereafter, second partitioning members 29A, 29B are inserted into a gap formed by the first partitioning member 28. A pusher comb 30 pushes out the paper block which is clamped by the paper clamping devices 22A, 22B after paper receiving arms 26A, 26B are widened and inserted into the gap. The elevating bed 9 is lifted while papers are loosened by blowing air for transferring the paper block. With this arrangement, papers may be carried in a block, the work efficiency of paper handling may be improved. |
