PURPOSE:To obtain a delay device having no dependence on the variance of a process parameter by using a phase locked loop circuit and forming a VCO in said loop circuit and a delay circuit in the same element constitution. CONSTITUTION:This delay device consists of a phase locked loop 11 and a delay circuit 12. The loop 11 includes a VCO 13, a phase comparator 14 and an LPF 15. The oscillation frequency of the VCO 13 is controlled by the control signal received from the LPF 15 so that the oscillation frequency corresponds to a reference frequency signal. At the same time, the circuit 12 having the same element constitution as the VCO 13 is also controlled by the control signal of the LPF 15. Thus the delay time of the circuit 12 is controlled to the prescribed value by the control signal of the LPF 15 despite the variance of a process parameter. Then it is possible to obtain a delay device of high accuracy which is free from the variance of the process parameter. |
