PURPOSE:To decide whether a receiving processor whose congestion state is informed has a fault or not by confirming whether or not a master processor can have communication with said receiving processor. CONSTITUTION:A fact that a receiving processor 2 detects the congestion of a receiving processor 3 based on the length of a transmission buffer queue is informed to a master processor 1. The processor 1 checks whether or not it can have communication with the processor 3 having a congestion state by means of a life/death confirming signal (b). Based on the result of said check, the fault of the processor 3 is decided. When the processor 3 has a real fault, the normal communication is not carried out. While the communication is possible in the case of the congestion of a processor that can be recovered like a busy mode of a receiving buffer, etc. Thus it is possible to decide accurately a real fault of the processor 3. |
