PURPOSE:To enable fitting from the vertical direction by giving a fitting part an arcuate motion in the fitting of the struck frame of a truck for a railway rolling stock and the part with the angle such as the hanging bar of braking unit. CONSTITUTION:The lower end of the hanging bar 8 of a braking unit is previously supported so that the center of a cap 11 reaches the center of the mounting hole 22 of a truck frame 1 when the cap 11 is set up at the nose of the hanging bar 8 and a hydraulic cylinder 21 is pushed up. When the truck 1 is fitted to a journal box 5 in the vertical direction from the upper side and dropped under a condition that the piston rod of the cylinder 21 keeps balance, the mouting hole 22 and the cap 11 are contacted. When the truck frame 1 is dropped continuously, the piston rod of the cylinder 21 drops at the point of time when the load reaches prescribed force or higher, and the hanging bar 8 draws a circular arc centering around a pin 7 and can smoothly be fitted with the truck frame 1. |
