GLASS FIBERIZATION BY CENTRIFUGAL FEED OF GLASS INTO ATTENUATING BLAST

In the technique for fiberizing glass by the use of a centrifugal spinner delivering glass streams into an attenuating blast, there is disclosed a novel spinner construction and operation, with provision for increasing the production, while also providing for the use of glass of lower cost, and at the same time, reducing environmental pollution. There are also disclosed novel glass compositions and novel spinner alloy compositions especially suited for use with the novel spinner construction and operation disclosed.
