PURPOSE:To prevent instability of a jet direction due to corrosion of nozzles, and attachment of ink dregs to nozzles by providing a coating layer forward out of a film in gas phase in the nozzles using hydrocarbon compounds or fluorinated hydrocarbon compounds as materials. CONSTITUTION:A liquid droplet forming part and an ink recovery part are provided, and a nozzle part which records by ejecting a chain of ink droplets from nozzles of the liquid droplet forming part, and the ink recovery part have a coating layer formed out of gas-phase filming method using hydrocarbon compounds of fluorinated hydrocarbon compounds as materials. The coating layer should preferably be one processed by glow discharge in a gas of compounds including fluorine. In this way, the nozzles are not easily corroded and less susceptible of wetting by ink. For this reason, no ink attachment to the nozzles or their corrosion occurs. The same is true about the ink recovery part. |
