Instrument gauge

The instrument gauge (10), eg for motor vehicles, comprises a coverfilm (14) having gauge graphics printed thereon for visible reading from a front face (24) of the coverfilm; a light source (20) positioned to the rear of the coverfilm for illuminating the rear face (26) of the coverfilm; and a removable slide (36) positioned between the light source and the rear face of the coverfilm for projecting a colour or pattern onto the rear face of the coverfilm. Allows changing of the colour or background image of the instrument gauge.
