A color photographic material comprising a support and at least one layer thereon containing as anti-fading agent, at least one compound of formula (I): ( I ) wherein Rl and R2 each represent an alkyl group,an alkenyl group, a cycloalkyl group, an aryl group or a heterocyclic ring; R3, R4, R5 and R6 each represent hydrogen or halogen, or an alkyl group, an alkenyl group, a cycloalkyl group, an aryl group, an alkoxy group an alkylthio group, an aryloxy group, an arylthio group, an acyl group, an acylamino group, an alkylamino group, an alkoxy carbonyl group or a sulfonamido group: and when Rl and R2 both are an alkyl group, the sum of the carbon atoms of said alkyl group is not less than 3. The compound of formula (I) which is substantially unreactive with the oxidized form of a developer to form a a coloring dye is incorporated in the color photographic material to prevent discoloration and fading-in-color of this color photographic material.
