<p>PURPOSE:To enhance the sound insulating property of a floor material, by adding a specific amount of an iron oxide powder to a liquid mixture being prepared by adding a vulcanization additive to specific latex and forming the resulting mixture into a sheet by molding and vulcanization before laminating said sheet. CONSTITUTION:One or more kind of synthetic rubber latex prepared by the emulsion copolymerization or homopolymerization of a composition mainly composed of a monomer having a conjugated double bond is used and a part of said latex may be substituted with natural rubber latex. A vulcanizer is dispersed in the latex to prepare a latex liquid mixture and an iron oxide powder is added to said mixture in an amount of 1-10pts.wt. of 1pt. of the rubber component therein. A foaming agent for supporting dispersion and a delayed gelling agent for adjusting gelling are added to the latex to be mixed therewith. The liquid mixture obtained is cast on a flat body to form a liquid layer which is, in turn, gelled, molded and vulcanized to obtain a foamed rubber sheet. One or more foamed rubber sheet is used as a core material and laminated to two or more veneers through an adhesive having the iron oxide powder added thereto to obtain a laminate excellent in sound insulating effect.</p> |
