<p>PURPOSE:To measure the direction and speed of fluid in all directions in front of a base by providing plural sensors which have constant output characteristics to the fluid arriving from within a constant angle range, allowing a probe in the fluid to measure the fluid speed nondirectionally in a stationary state, and rotating it around a longitudinal beam as an axis. CONSTITUTION:A cross beam 1 is constituted by combining the longitudinal beam 8 and a lateral beam 9 in a cross shape, one end of the longitudinal beam 8 is fitted onto a base 4, and the sensors 5a-5c whose outputs are constant within the constant range of the angle to the flow of the fluid, but decrease outside the constant angle range as the angle increases or decreases are fixed to three end parts of the beam 1, thereby forming three signal-body probes. Then, a voltage is applied to the sensors 5a-5c and a resistance value which varies according to temperature variation due to the contacting with the fluid is converted by a current, voltage, or electric power, thereby measuring the speed and direction of the fluid. Further, the beam 1 is rotated around the beam 8 as the axis to find the flow direction of the fluid from output characteristics and rotational angles of sensors which are within the constant angle range of the angle to the flow of the fluid.</p> |
