PURPOSE:To carry out removal work of a cradle safely and effectively by launching a ship after separating the ship from said launching cradle. CONSTITUTION:After launching, the ship 1 is brought into a dock 2 with a launching cradle 3 bound thereto. Sea water in the dock is discharged until the lower face of the launching way is positioned near a dock bottom 2a. Next, a driver dives under the sea to bind the cradle 3 to the dock bottom 2a by a fixing wire 4 so as to prevent the cradle from floating. Then, a slip hook 6 of a wire cable 5 fixing the launching cradle 3 to the ship 1 is unfastened to release the fixed relation between the ship 1 and the cradle 3. Water is poured in the dock 2 to float the ship 1 and to separate the cradle 3 from the ship 1, then the ship 1 is tugged out from the dock 2 to finish the cradle removal work. |
