PURPOSE:To improve rigidity of the roof panel and prevent the roof panel from its vibration by means of joining the roof panel through foam material to the preformed ceiling. CONSTITUTION:The upper part of the vehicular body is covered in such a way that the side parts of a roof panel 1 are fixed through a drip channel 11 to the outer panel 21 of roof side rails. A molded ceiling 4 is formed in such a way that corrugated pasteboard is used as its core material, and soft foam urethane and vinyl chloride sheet are glued on the surface layer. Said structured molded ceiling 4 is bonded through soft foam material 6 which is impregnated with adhesive resin solution to the roof panel. Thus, the roof panel 6 can be reinforced by means of the molded ceiling 4, which can effectively prevent the panel 6 from vibration. |
