PURPOSE:To perform freely and economically the installation of a landing pier by a method in which a landing pier which can be towed and is provided with plural elevating support piers is towed to a construction site, each support pier is brought down and pressed on the seabed, and the landing pier is raised from the surface of the sea. CONSTITUTION:When installing a landing pier, a landing pier 2 and a base ship 16 are towed to a given place, e.g., to nearly the tip of a slutty pipe 13, under the condition that the piers 4 and 20 of the mooring landing pier 2 and the base ship 16 are lifted up. Then, drivers 7 and 22 are operated to lower the support piers 4 and 20 and also to put dead weights 9 and 23 on the seabed, while pressing the lower ends of the support piers 4 and 20 on the seabed. By this, the landing pier body 3 and the base ship body 17 are lifted up from the surface of the sea and the installation of the landing pier is completed. Under the condition, a slurry transport ship 1 is put ashore, the head and stern of the transport ship 1 are moored to the base ship 16 by a mooring rope 24, and slurry is unloaded. |
