BRAKING FORCE HOLDER FOR CAR

摘要

PURPOSE:To simplify the structure by enabling the selective blocking of the rotation of a rotary member interlocked with the brake pedal while enabling the rotation of the brake pedal only in the stepping direction through the one way clutch when blocking the rotation. CONSTITUTION:One end of the connection link 5 is pivoted to the brake pedal 1 while the other end is pivotably coupled to the inner tooth member 8 in the braking force holder. The inner tooth member 8 is supported rotatably to the bracket member 10 secured to the chassis through the shaft 9. Furthermore a selector inner tooth 12 is formed in the elongated hole 11 of the inner tooth member 8, to be engaged with the pinion 21. The pinion 21 is secured to the shaft 20 where the shaft 20 is born by the rotary sleeve 16 through the one-way clutch 19. The rotary sleeve 16 is supported rotatably and freely movably in the axial direction on the electromagnetic coil 14 of the electromagnetic brake 13 by means of a needle bearing 15. Furthermore a flange section 17 is formed on the rotary sleeve 16 and fixed with an armature 18.
