<p>PURPOSE:To obtain gases of high purity from gaseous mixture inexpensively by utilizing the progression of adsorption and desorption stages in the form of moving of the region where adsorption and desorption called an adsorption zone are effected. CONSTITUTION:If it is assumed that adsorption towers 11, 12 are in an adsorption stage, adsorption towers 13, 14 are in a desorption stage and adsorption towers 15, 16 are in a scavenging stage, the supply gas B fed through a valve 21 is adsorbed of gaseous O2 D in the towers 11, 12, and gaseous N2 C is delivered out through a valve 32, and is delivered to the outside of the system after its pressure is reduced by a valve 4. Part of said N2 is fed through valves 6, 68 into an adsorption tower 18. In the towers 18, 14, the gaseous O2 is desorbed and is delivered out through a valve 74. Part thereof is fed through valves 7, 85 into the tower 15 and the balance is delivered through a valve 9 to the outside of the system. In the towers 15, 16, N2 is desorbed and is delivered together with the residual air in the gaseous phase as a waste gas E through a valve 56. The waste gas E is increased of pressure by a blower 8 and is recycled as part of the gas B. Thereafter, the stages for the respective adsorption towers are sequentially changed over, whereby the gas B is treated.</p> |
