PURPOSE:To evade reduction in driving performance at rapid acceleration or so in an air conditioner which controls a compressor according to an engine load by shifting a reference temperature to a higher reference level when the load is high. CONSTITUTION:In a control circuit 22, a temperature sensor 23, a variable resistance 17 which is actuated with a temperature control lever, and a fixed resistance 24 are connected in series and a boosting switch 21 is connected in parallel with the fixed resistance 24. Because a thermistor which reduces a resistance in inverse proportion to increase in temperature is used as the temperature sensor 23, and if a value of the resistance 17 generated at a reference set temprature T0, a value of the sensor 23 and a value of the fixed resistance 24 are respectively represented by (r), R0 and R1, a resultant resistance produced when the switch 21 is on is R0+r and that produced when the switch 21 is off is a result made by adding the R1 to said result. A resultant resistance R' of the sensor 23 having a T1 higher than the T0, and the resistance 24, 17 is a result of R0+r, resultantly shifting the set temperature of the control circuit 22 to the higher value T1. When a load rises high with an engine cooled to a certain extent, a clutch 5a of the compressor 5 is disengaged. |
