<p>PURPOSE:To prevent firing phenomena and to prevent the wear of adsorbents during exchanging of adsorbents by providing many flat plates in an adsorbent packed chamber in such a way that they intersect orthogonally with the flow of treating gases and conform to the moving direction of the adsorbents during their exchanging, thereby making the distributions in the velocities of flow of treating gases uniform. CONSTITUTION:Many flat plates 38 are fixed to the top chamber wall 39 of a packed chamber which is packed with adsorbents 26 and is extended with wire nets in its inlet and outlet parts, in such a way that said plates intersect orthogonally with the flow direction (arrows A, B) of the treating gases penetrating through the packed chamber and that they conform to the moving direction (vertical direction) of the adsorbents 26 during the exchanging of the adsorbents 26. Then, the distributions in the velocities of flow in the packed chamber are made uniform, the firing phenomena by channelling are prevented and the adsorbents are utilized effectively. Further, in the stage of exchanging the adsorbents, the adsorbents 26 flow down along the flat plates 38 and therefore the abrasion of the adsorbents is prevented.</p> |
