PURPOSE:To prevent the rise in the temperature of a diaphragm unit and enable its use for a long time, by attaching the diaphragm unit to a compressor casing to rotatively open or close a swing valve through a rod and a linkage. CONSTITUTION:A jointly-used by-pass hole 3 is provided in the exhaust gas inlet part of a double-entry-type turbine casing 1 divided by a partition wall 9. A swing valve 10 is installed at the face of the by-pass hole 3. A diaphragm unit 11 is attached to a compressor casing 17 to rotatively open or close the swing valve 10 through a rod 18 and a linkage 12. As a result, the temperature of the diaphragm unit 11 is prevented from rising, so that it can be used for a long time. Since the fulcrum shaft 24 of the swing valve 20 is never in contact with exhaust gas, the shaft does not seize and can therefore smoothly work for a long period. |
