PURPOSE:To prevent an engine from its damage and rapid change of torque, by equipping a fuel supply controller stopping a feed of fuel partially to cylinders when abnormality of the engine is detected. CONSTITUTION:Now supercharge pressure from a supercharger 9 is controlled by a waste gate 16, for instance, carbon or the like adheres to a valve unit 11 in a bypass passage 20, if the valve is not operated under its closed state, the supercharge pressure continues increasing to cause a suspicion of damage in an engine. Then if the supercharge pressure becomes the second set value slightly exceeding the first set value, a fuel stop circuit 21 shuts off electronic injection valves 18a, 18b from an injection valve control circuit 19 by a signal of a pressure sensor 20, and the rest of two cylinders are only operated. Accordingly, the engine lowers both its speed and supercharge pressure, if the pressure becomes less than the second set value, all cylinders are agin operated. In this fault, the supercharge pressure can be controlled approximately to the second set value, then the supercharge pressure is prevented from its excessive increase. |
