A FLEXIBLE DAM WITH SAFE APPARATUS

The inflatable dam has a flexible closed envelope(7) attached to a foundation(9), which in turn is arranged across a river to form a dam when inflatable. It has an air inlet and discharge(11) pipe with one end feeding into the bottom of the envelope. The other end of the discharge pipe(13) has a branch pipe(14) with its open end submerged in water at a predetermined level. This corresponds to the air pressure in the envelope when the dam is inflated. An air pressure detecting pipe(12) has one end leading from a side of the envelope and its other end connected to a vertical portion of the branch pipe.
