PURPOSE:To improve the strength and uniformity of a product by degassing a stock resin supplied into a vacuum hopper unit, supplying the resin into an extruding machine and extruding the resin while exhausting gases and steam produced in the machine by a vacuum pump. CONSTITUTION:A partition valve 5 is closed while the second vacuum valve 7 remains opened, a stock resin in the second vacuum hopper 3 is degassed, and the resin is then supplied to the cylinder and screw unit of an extruding machine 10. Then, the resin in the machine 10 is molten, is extruded from a mold 11, an extruded material 12 is introduced into a cooling water tank 13, is then cooled, and is thereafter passed through a pickup machine 14, an orienting tank 16 and a pickup machine 15 to be longitudinally oriented. When the resin in the hopper 3 is reduced to the prescribed amount, stock resin is again supplied repeatedly from the first vacuum hopper 2 into the hopper 3. |
