PURPOSE:To decrease the relative dielectric constant of a high molecular piezoelectric matter and then to reduce the electrical impedance of a transducer, by setting the high molecular piezoelectric matters having a thin film electrode on both surfaces respectively in parallel electrically to each other and forming an element so that it can have the thickness vibration with the same phase. CONSTITUTION:The rectangular PVDF piezoelectric matter having the prescribed thickness, width and length is stuck on a substrate 1 with an adhesive. Plural sheets of this piezoelectric matters are laminated with application of a sufficiently high degree of pressure. Thus the high molecular piezoelectric matters 31-3n are obtained. When these matters 31-3n are laminated, the lead wires 5 and 5' are extracted from the thin film electrodes 41-4n and 41'-4n' respectively. An array type transducer is formed by dividing the matters 31-3n into the array forms. Thus the relative dielectric constant is decreased for the matters 31-3n, and the electrical impedance is reduced for the transducer. |
