PURPOSE:To know advancing direction readily by providing a magnetic needle of a magnet which is supported at its center on a horizontal plane supported by a gyroscope, electrically detecting the tips of the needle which is directed to the north and south, and providing a disk indicating the north, south, east, and west, at the outside of the plane figure of the automobile. CONSTITUTION:A main body 1 is mounted on the automobile. A horizontal board 2 is supported by two shafts which cross at a right angle. The horizontal board 2 is horizontally held regardless of any inclination of the automobile. The magnetic needle 3 of the magnet is supported at the center of the horizontal board 2. A plurality of non-contact sensors 4 are arranged in the vicinity of the outer periphery. The tips of the needle 3 of the magnet which direct the north and south are detected and converted into an electric signal. The directions indicating the indicating board 5 with respect to the direction of the automobile on the plane figure 6 of the automobile is indicated by liquid crystal characters. Thus the direction of the automobile is indicated. |
