ULTRASONIC FLAW INSPECTION SCANNER

PURPOSE:To facilitate the automatization of flaw inspection by providing a plurality of guide rails arranged on the surface to be inspected with flaw inspection lines crossing each other along the lines and an auxiliary rail or the like on the crossed section of the lines in such a manner as to free to rotate. CONSTITUTION:Guide rails 11-1 and 11-2 are arranged on the straight line at a fixed space to avoid the crossed section of the flaw inspection lines and guide rails 12-1 and 12-2 are likewise arranged on the straight line at a fixed space. The guide rails 11-1, 11-2, 12-1 and 12-2 cross each other almost at the right angle skipping the crossed section fo the flaw inspection lines. A fixed gear 16 is mounted on the inner surface of a connecting plate 14 and auxiliary rails 18 are pivoted on the center shaft 17 thereof above the crossed sections of the flaw inspection lines in such a manner as to free to rotate at the center thereof. This allows a mobile base to be shifted onto another guide rail thereby facilitating the automatization of the flaw inspection.
