PURPOSE:To freely change a bending direction as necessary by use of one bender, by selectively operating 2 bending work parts, in a both right and left bending type bender. CONSTITUTION:A rod-like material (a) is bend-operated by a working part M consisting of a bending mold 3 and a clamping mold 4. Subsequently, it is shifted to the next bending, and in case when the bending direction is changed to the right from the left, and vice versa, a holding frame body 7 is rotated bt 180 deg. by operating a rotation driving machine. In case of this inversion, since the rod- like material (a) gets in the way of rotation of the frame body 7, it is made to get free to the outside of its rotating locus once by driving machines 9A, 9B, and after that, it is reversed, is returned to its original position again by the driving machines 9A, 9B, and is set to a bending mold 3 being dirfferent from that of the previous time. In this regard, a driving machine 5 of a clamping mold for moving a long or short distance and the both clamping mold 4 are constituted in one body, and between the driving machine 5 and the both clamping mold 4, a link mechanism which is moved in parallel so as to approach the clamping mold of the opposite side as the clamping mold 4 is separated from the bending mold 3 is provided. |
