发明名称 CRACKED GRAIN DETECTOR
摘要 PURPOSE:To achieve a higher performance by indicating the number of cracked, damaged or unripened grains detecting a condition in which a difference in the quantity of light received between light receiving elements varies from a limit value in the reference quantity of light and the brightness of an actual image received. CONSTITUTION:When a cracked grain detector receives an image of a transmission light through an optical lens as irradiated after the projection of light on an unhulled grain from a light source 7, the quantity of light both sides of the grain, the quantity of light received by light receiving elements 17 and 18 is equal for accepted grain with no cracked surface holding the difference in the quantity of light therebetween within the reference light quantity limit value (voltage). This rice grain is identified as an accepted grain with no cracked surface. When any grain is cracked, the transmission light is scattered on the cracked surface R and as shown in the drawing, the quantity of light on the pressure side of the grain lowers so much as to make the difference in the quantity of light outside the limit value, where the grain is identified as cracked grain. This enables the automatization of the conventional eye measurement thereby achieving a high performance of the detection.
