The invention proposes a machine for expanding the ends of tubes. The machine has a body with a slot, at one end of which a holder is provided and in which is provided a die (10) by means of which the workpiece is held fast. A first cam extends into the slot and, when rotated, closes the die around the workpiece and moves the die towards the holder. A ram holder with a ram is provided in the vicinity of the other end of the slot and can be moved towards and away from the workpiece with the aid of a second cam, which is arranged behind the ram holder.
