A wheel hub bearing unit comprises an inner race member 40 and an outer race member 41. The inner race member 40 is part of or is adapted to be secured to a wheel. The outer race member 41 is adapted to be secured to a wheel support. Rolling bodies 42 are disposed between the race members 40 and 41. The ball 45 or the socket 44 of a ball and socket joint 43 is secured directly to the outer race member 41. When the unit is incorporated in a vehicle, the ball and socket joint 43 is also attached to a suspension element of the vehicle. <IMAGE> |
