<p>The valve body (2) is joined by two orifices (4) to two conduits on either side of the valve, and the dome (8,10,12) revolves in the body about an axis (18) between an open and a closed position. The dome has a conduit (8) that crosses it, the two end orifices of this conduit being in coincidence with the two orifices of the valve body in the valve open position. The section of conduit is constant over all its length allowing a free flow of fluid in the open position and dome parts (10,12) that have orifices rotate progressively into the closed position.</p> |
