PURPOSE:To improve the heat transmitting capacity and the dust adhering properties by a method wherein louver-like cut-ups, being opened at the side parts thereof facing to air stream are provided on a fin group and a ratio of the height of the cut-up to the pitch of the fin is determined within a specified range. CONSTITUTION:Openings 8, 9, 10, 11 are formed on the front surface side of a flat plate fin 1 while the openings 12, 13, 14, 15 are formed on the rear surface side thereof, and two sides 16-23 of the cut-ups 3, 4, 5 and bent pieces 6, 7 are stood up to form a louver-like shape as a whole. Heights H of the louver-like cut-ups 3, 4, 5 and the bent pieces 6, 7 from the surface of the fin 1 are determined within the range of H/L=0.14-0.28 with respect to the pitch L of the fin. According to this method, a summerized effect in the breakage of the fin 1 and others may be displayed. |
