PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dye laser which is capable of oscillating efficiently, being prevented from discolaring, and being enhanced in service life even if nonflammable solvent is used. SOLUTION: The laser medium of a dye laser device 2 is high boiling point water-soluble organic solvent which contains 30 to 80% water and is loaded with fluorescent dye, and the florescence of fluorescent dye contained in the laser medium is excited by an exciting light source 5 and emitted to carry out laser oscillation. |
