Winch for rotary flexible tube drilling applications - having double-axis drum rotation and coincident-axis guide rotation

A double-axis winch for the simultaneous winding and twisting of flexible materials employs a conventional hydraulically-powered drum winch with a guide assembly which ensures that the flexible material leaves the device along an axis passing through the centre of the drum. The drum and guide can both rotate bodily about this axis imparting a twisting motion to material being wound or unwound. Used for paying out flexible tube in turbo-drilling applications.
