<p>The derailleur for a pedal cycle has a main body (1) pivoting on an axis (15) fixed to a base (16). It has a lower section (2) carrying a chain guide and articulated to the main body via two link rods, front (4) and rear (5). These forms a movable parallel organ (3) which has its movement resisted by a spring. The sprocket pinions' movement is controlled via a cable (13A) actuating the upper and lower sections. The cable is mounted in the median axis of the parallelogram and derailleur to allow a force to be applied to its longitudinal axis.</p> |
