PURPOSE:To reduce the abnormal sounds of a rotary type element by a method wherein a plurality of seals, separating a feed air stream and a discharging air stream are formed into the seals having curved surfaces by joining a plurility of sheets of thin plates such as rubber or the like and are contacted with the outer surface of the heat exchanging element. CONSTITUTION:The heat exchanging element 10, being rotated under clossing the feed air stream and the discharging air stream simultaneously, and a plurality of seals 13b, 14b, slidingly contacting with the outer surface of this heat exchanging element 10 and separating the feed air stream and the discharging air stream, are provided. Here, the side seal 13b and the center seal 14b are formed into the seal having the curved surface by joining a plurality of sheets of the thin plate of rubber or the like and the curved surface is contacted with the outer surface of the heat exchanging element 10. According to this method, the seal 13b and the seal 14b may be contacted with the element 10 at all times in a stabilized condition and whereby good sealing efficiency may be obtained while the abnormal sounds generated from the seal part may be reduced. |
