PURPOSE:To protect a throttle opening sensor against physical and environmental conditions and enhance the durabilty thereof by mounting the throttle opening sensor at a place below a part between a plurality of intake gas passages provided with throttle valves. CONSTITUTION:In a carburetor provided with two intake gas passages 3, 4 in which throttle valves 1, 2 are rotatably fitted, levers 7, 8 and an adjusting screw 9 and the like are provided at one end of a shaft part 5, 6 of each of the valves 1, 2, and the intake gas passages 3, 4 are fixed to a lower bracket 10 with a predetermined spacing therebetween. In said carburetor, the throttle opening sensor is composed of a lever 11, an ajusting screw 2 and a microswitch 13 or the like. The sensor is placed at a place below an intermediate part between the intake gas passages 3, 4 and is fitted to the bracket 10. A lever 8 is brought into contact with the adjusting screw 12 at one end of the lever 11, and the microswitch 13 is operated at the other end of the lever 11. |
