The invention relates to a piezoelectric element in which, between the electrode (3) and the substrate material (1), an intermediate layer (2) is provided, the coefficient of thermal expansion approximately corresponds to that of the substrate material and the thickness of which is less than the wavelength of the resonant oscillation of the substrate material.
