PURPOSE:To obtaine a head shifting device which has simple, small-sized and lightweight constitution by allowing an electromagnetic plunger to release a cam, which is united with an intermittent gear and controls a head shaft, from being locked by a lock member. CONSTITUTION:When a lock member 5 is rotated by an electromagnetic plunger, the operating end of the member 5 and a projection part 17 are unlocked from each other, and a cam 3 unites with an intermittent gear 2 is rotated counter- clockwise by the elastic force of a spring. Then, the gear and a driving gear 1 mesh with each other, the gear 2 rotates once, and the control member 12 of a head shifting device shifts together with an operating member 7 through a lock 8 driven by the cam 3, setting a reproduction state. Since this electro-magnetic plunger only releases the locking, the head shifting device which has the simple, small-sized and light weight constitution without requiring a long-stroke, large- capacity solenoid, etc, is obtained. |
