PURPOSE:To obtain a photoreceptor high in sensitivity and not causing deterioration of charging characteristics, etc., even when it is repeatedly used, by adding a specified bisazo pigment to a charge generating layer and a specified hydrazone compound to a charge transfer layer. CONSTITUTION:A charge generating layer contains at least one of bisazo pigments represented by the formulaIand of azo pigments represented by the formula II. In the formulaIand II, A1 is -Ar11-Ar11- or -Ar12-Y11-Ar12-, and Ar11, Ar12 are each optionally substituted phenylene or naphthylene, and Y11 is optionally substituted divalent hydrocarbon, -O-, -S-, -NH-, or the like; R11 is optionally lsubstituted alkyl or aryl; R12 is H, halogen, OH, or the like; m1 is 1-4; A2 is as A1; and Y21, R21, R22, m2 are as Y11, R11, R12, m1. A charge transfer layer contains one of hydrazone compounds represented by the formula III in which R31, R32 are each optionally substituted alkyl or phenyl; R33 is optionally substituted N,N-dialkylamino, or the like; R34 is H or optionally substituted alkyl or the like; R35 is H, halogen, optionally substituted alkyl or the like; l is 0 or 1; and m3 is 1-4, thus permitting a photoreceptor high in durability to be obtained. |
