Sprinkler adjustable to different sprinkling areas and water pressures

The sprinkler has a tube-like nozzle (fan nozzle 4) pivotable to and fro about a horizontal axis (C-D) and having nozzle bores (5-20) arranged at different inclinations along a generatrix. Arranged in the fan nozzle (4) is a round-body slide (21) which is axially adjustable via the nozzle bores (5-20) and which bears sealingly with its circumference against the inner cylindrical surface of the fan nozzle (4). The round-body slide is intended for inactivating some of the nozzle bores so as to match the particular supply of water, without the water jets from the remaining nozzle bores being appreciably weakened. It is thereby possible in a simple way, by reducing the water consumption, to bring about an increase in pressure in the line and therefore an optimum performance. <IMAGE>
