PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an IC card whose reliability is high by preventing voltage from being directly impressed to a housed IC even when an abnormally large voltage is generated in a non-contact system for preventing the IC from being destroyed. SOLUTION: When a larger voltage than a voltage value to be supplied is generated in a coil 10 at a moment when the owner of an IC card puts the IC card close to a reader/writer, or moves his or her hand holding the IC card, a large DC voltage is generated in a rectifier circuit 301, and the large voltage is dropped when a voltage generated in a shunt regulator circuit 303 is allowed to escape. Thus, a voltage within a limit to be properly converted into a prescribed voltage in a regulator circuit 302 is impressed in the regulator circuit 302, and any larger voltage than the maximum rated voltage can be prevented from being impressed to any primary circuit or CPU of an interface LSI 30. |
