PURPOSE:To facilitate the analysis of the dynamic structure tracing of a program having the dynamic overlay function, by detecting the occurrence of dynamic overlay due to the program by an instruction decoder or the like. CONSTITUTION:A dynamic overlay detecting device 10 receives output information 1 and 2 from an information processing device 20 and detects the dynamic overlay operation of a program and stores dynamic overlay information 5 in a memory 16 for tracing. The dynamic overlay detecting device consists of an instruction decoder 12, an I/O contro instruction detecting circuit 13, and an operand data discriminating circuit 14 for tracer, and an overlay information transfer circuit 15 is provided for recording dynamic tracing operation information 5 onto the memory 16 for tracing. |
