It is proposed to use a film with, at least as a substantial component, a high-temperature resistant, anti-adhesive polymer material such as PTFE, possibly with a carrier, for example of glass fibre fabric, as supporting layer on baking trays for baking a wide variety of bread, cakes and pastries.
