A method for sealing the gap between a sewer liner (3) and a connecting conduit (2) to the sewer, such as a drain, includes providing a hole in the liner for communication with the conduit, sealing a flexible bag (7) to the liner about said hole, and applying pressure to the bag to force at least a portion of the bag into the conduit so as to bridge the gap between the liner and the sewer at the point of connection of the conduit. Preferably a suitable grouting material is then introduced into the gap so as to surround the bag where it bridges the gap, thereby making a permanent seal between the liner and the connecting conduit. |
