In an oil burner arrangement for outdoor cookers, a heated vaporiser is provided before the burner, the oil being fed to the vaporiser through an oil nozzle. The vaporiser is heated to a temperature above 360 DEG C (cracking point of diesel oil), so that the oil is gasified rapidly and without residue.
